COVID-19 Compliance Protocols

PLANNING FOR YOUR PILATES SESSION

  • Effective September 15, 2021, clients must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination, or proof of negative COVID-19 test, prior to your session. If you are vaccinated, you will only need to show proof of vaccination once. If you are not fully vaccinated, you will need to show a negative test at each session.
  • If you arrive early, please remain in your car until five minutes prior to your session. Scheduling has been adjusted to allow more time for cleaning and disinfecting between sessions.
  • When you enter the studio, wash your hands for at least 20 seconds, using the provided touch-less soap dispenser and paper towels. A trash bin is located next to the sink to discard paper towels after drying hands, or after using them to open the door as you leave.
  • Leave valuables at home. Bring into the studio only what is necessary (keys, socks, water bottle, towel, wallet). Personal items should only be stored in the cubbies. Please do not use the chairs, countertop, etc., to store personal items.
  • As an added layer of protection, clients are required to wear socks during sessions. Any kind of socks are acceptable— these do not need to be Pilates-style sticky socks. I will continue to have stickybesocks for purchase if you would like to stock up. I recommend keeping a couple of clean pairs in your car so you won’t forget.
  • Please remain in the waiting area until called over to the Cadillac or Reformers. This is to ensure that all equipment has been sufficiently cleaned, sanitized, and dried before use. Kristi will direct participants to assigned areas to maintain standards of physical distancing.
  • The use of studio towels and water bottles is temporarily suspended. Please bring your own towel and water bottle for use during your session.
  • Whenever possible, please make payments through your Mindbody account online. This will save time at the studio and to keep the payment process touch free. I am happy to talk you through the process if necessary.
  • If you are feeling ill or experiencing any symptoms related to COVID-19, you are required to cancel your session. In fairness to others, please cancel as soon as possible.

SAFETY MEASURES

  • The Reformers have been moved six feet apart to allow for appropriate physical distancing recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
  • All Reformer and Cadillac straps have been replaced with Balanced Body® Vinyl Covers to allow for more effective sanitation between sessions.
  • Touch-less soap dispensers have been installed at the hand washing station by the entrance of the studio and in the restroom.
  • Hand sanitizer is available throughout the studio.
  • Since opening in 2014, Galante Pilates has utilized cleaning products that comply with the Environmental Protection Agency criteria for List N disinfectants. Additional supplies have been purchased, and we will continue to maintain our high standards of cleanliness and disinfection between client sessions.
  • Galante Pilates will continue to be cleaned and disinfected weekly by the same professional cleaning company contracted since opening.
